After many years of working at some of
the best restaurants in Portimão, Fernando and Angelina decided to open
their own business on the sands at Praia da Rocha in 1976.
Today, the Atlântico Restaurant
is managed by their children, Vânia and Ricardo, but it is still Fernando who
goes to the local market every day to carefully select the best and freshest
ingredients. It is he who chooses the fish and seafood from the Algarve coast,
and the fresh fruit and vegetables that are transformed by Angelina’s capable
